Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and maintenance of safety and rescue equipment on boats.
  • Issue and approve safety certificates.
  • Conduct cylinder body tests and oversee cylinder filling processes.
  • Calibrate fire extinguishing system devices.
  • Conduct annual inspections, including load testing of metal stairs and ropes.
  • Perform annual tests or pressure tests on fire hoses, charging and discharge hoses, and elevators.
  • Conduct annual inspection and load testing of cranes.
  • Coordinate with maritime agencies.
