Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations for marine and offshore projects
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work
- Support in BOQ preparation and cost breakdowns
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams
- Collect and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Participate in tender preparation and submission
- Identify basic cost risks and estimation gaps
- Maintain estimation records and cost databases
- Support senior estimators in project evaluation and pricing
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in marine estimation or related roles
Basic knowledge of:
- Ship repair and maintenance
- Marine/offshore projects
- Estimation and tendering processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic estimation tools
- Good analytical and numerical skills
Key Competencies

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Experience in GCC marine, shipyard, or oil & gas sector
- Exposure to tendering and commercial processes

- Fluent in Arabic (Mandatory)
