Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys to assess marine ecosystems, employing advanced scientific methodologies to gather comprehensive data on biodiversity and habitat health.
  • Analyze collected data using specialized software and statistical techniques, producing detailed reports that inform conservation strategies and management decisions.
  • Monitor water quality parameters, including temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen, to identify potential threats to marine life and ecosystem integrity.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring equipment, ensuring accurate data collection through regular calibration and maintenance procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Oceanography, Environmental Science, or a related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.

  • Holds relevant certifications, such as scientific diving or small boat handling, showcasing practical skills and safety awareness.

  • Exhibits 3-5 years of experience in marine monitoring or related field, indicating practical experience.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, or similar) and GIS applications, showcasing strong analytical skills.

  • Boat driving license

  • Diving license
