Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to international maritime safety standards, environmental regulations, and company safety management systems
Inspections & Audits: Perform regular safety inspections on vessels and equipment to identify hazards and verify that safety gear is functional
Training & Awareness: Conduct safety training, emergency drills, and promote a safety culture
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents or near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Emergency Response: Act as a key responder during emergencies and coordinate medical evacuations or safety procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
NEBOSH IGC or similar Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) qualifications must
Marine experience preferred.
