Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all marine operations, ensuring safe and efficient vessel management and adherence to maritime regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate marine crew activities, including navigation, mooring, and cargo handling, to optimize operational performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vessels and equipment, identifying and rectifying any defects or safety hazards promptly.
  • Manage and maintain vessel maintenance schedules, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing downtime.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field to have relevant educational background.
  • Holds a valid Master Mariner or Chief Engineer license, demonstrating the required professional qualifications.
  • Certified in STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping) and other relevant maritime certifications, ensuring compliance with international standards.
  • Has a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the maritime industry, including time at sea and in a supervisory role.
