Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
- Conduct and support bathymetric and topographic surveys for marine and coastal projects.
- Assist in barge and excavator positioning operations using GNSS and related systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with the project and site teams to support daily construction and dredging activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of survey reports, drawings, and deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in bathymetric surveys, barge positioning, and excavator positioning systems, and demonstrate a strong willingness to grow in more advanced survey technologies.
Qualifications /div> div> ul> li>5 to10 years of proven expertise in marine surveying within complex marine environments./li> li>Bachelor s degree or diploma in Geomatics, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field./li> li>Certification in hydrographic surveying or offshore operations is preferred./li> li>Qualified with 3D modelling software (Civil 3D and similar) to prepare and edit models, and extract quantities/li> li>Initial knowledge of bathymetric surveys, barge positioning, and excavator positioning systems./li> li>Familiarity with hydrographic and positioning equipment and software (e.g., GPS/GNSS, total stations, dredge monitoring systems)./li> li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills./li> li>Ability to work in offshore and coastal environments./li> li>Strong reporting, communication, and independent work capabilities./li> li>Team player with strong communication skills.
