Roles & Responsibilities
MARITIME ACCOUNTANT
Main responsibilities
- Monitor shipowner accounts receivable
- Managing the recovery of international customer receivables
- to submit and track invoices related to maritime operations
- Maintain regular contact with shipowners and foreign partners
- Verify and reconcile the accounts.
- Track payments and follow up with overdue customers
- Collaborating with operational and administrative teams
- Ensure the reliability of financial data.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree (Bac+4) / Master's degree (Bac+5) in accounting, finance, management or equivalent
- Mandatory experience in the maritime/shipping sector
- Good knowledge of maritime invoicing and international debt collection mechanisms
- English: high/professional level required (direct communication with international shipowners)
