Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market access strategies to optimize product availability and reimbursement across UAE/GCC markets.

  • Lead pricing, reimbursement, and coding strategies, including submissions to payers, PBMs, and regulatory authorities.

  • Manage and support payer negotiations, hospital listings, and tender processes.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance companies, PBMs, and hospital procurement teams.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, medical, regulatory, and finance teams to align access strategies with brand objectives.

  • Oversee development of value dossiers, payer value propositions, and budget impact analyses.

  • Analyze payer landscapes, reimbursement pathways, access barriers, and policy changes.

  • Track and review access KPIs, reimbursement performance, and pricing outcomes.

  • Mentor and guide Market Access Executives / Associates.

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Management (MBA / MPH preferred).

  • 4–8 years of experience in Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement, or Payer Strategy.

  • Strong understanding of UAE/GCC healthcare systems, insurance models, and hospital access pathways.

  • Experience in payer negotiations, tenders, and hospital formulary management.

  • Working knowledge of health economics, budget impact, and cost-effectiveness concepts.

  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
