Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for pharmaceutical products in Qatar.

  • Conduct local market research, competitor analysis, and identify business growth opportunities.

  • Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and promotional collateral aligned with local regulations.

  • Monitor product and brand performance and provide actionable insights.

Promotions & Field Activities

  • Plan and oversee promotional campaigns targeting doctors, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions in Qatar.

  • Coordinate with sales and field teams to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented effectively.

  • Organize events, workshops, and product launches within Qatar in line with regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with Qatari pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.

Contracts & Business Submissions

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts with distributors, healthcare institutions, and other business partners in Qatar.

  • Submit documentation to the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) or other regulatory bodies for product registration, approvals, and business growth initiatives.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on submissions and approvals to support market expansion.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams: Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain.

  • Maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key clients.

  • Provide management with regular reports on marketing outcomes, contractual progress, and ROI.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all marketing, promotional, and contractual activities fully comply with Qatar laws, MOPH regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Track KPIs, campaign performance, and budget utilization.


  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of Qatari pharmaceutical regulations, approvals, and compliance requirements.

    • Experience handling contracts, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and sales data.

    • Leadership and team management capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Have a scientific background combined with strong marketing and business acumen.

  2. Be proactive, result-oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic pharmaceutical market.

  3. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams.

  4. Be well-versed in contracts, regulatory submissions, and approval processes relevant to Qatar.

  5. Exhibit strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and optimize brand performance.

  6. Have a high degree of integrity and compliance awareness in line with Qatari laws and MOPH regulations.

  7. Preferably have experience in the Gulf region or familiarity with GCC pharmaceutical markets.

    • Proficiency in MS Office and marketing tools; digital marketing skills are advantageous
