Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and B2B sales strategy for handcrafted wood products.
Identifying and reaching out to potential institutional clients, retail partners, and wholesale buyers.
Managing the full sales cycle: lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
Representing the brand and product line in meetings, fairs, and exhibitions to increase exposure and secure new clients.
Building and maintaining a database of buyers, sales leads, and partnerships.
Preparing marketing materials and collaborating with the creative team on product storytelling and presentation.
Tracking sales targets and producing regular reports to assess performance and opportunities.
Supporting the development of marketing campaigns that align with the project s social impact goals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B sales, marketing, or business development, experience in craft or design sectors is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience developing and executing marketing and sales strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to close B2B deals and manage client relationships.
- Experience working with handmade, design-based, or cultural products is preferred.
- Familiarity with social enterprise models or community-based business development is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation tools, experience with CRM tools, google workspace and social media platforms is a plus.
- Passion for heritage, crafts, sustainability, and supporting women and youth-led initiatives.
