Your Role
As Marketing Communications Manager for the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the hotel is introduced to the world. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the hotel’s integrated marketing communications strategy—bringing together advertising, public relations, digital, social media, partnerships, and brand storytelling to support the hotel’s vision and commercial objectives.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and key internal and external partners, this role ensures Hyatt Place AlUla launches with impact, relevance, and a strong, consistent brand presence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the hotel’s integrated marketing communications strategy and annual marketing calendar.
Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to identify opportunities and deliver effective on- and offline marketing initiatives.
Lead public relations activity and agency coordination to drive local, regional, and international exposure.
Oversee social media strategy, content direction, and performance in collaboration with agency partners and Hyatt Digital Marketing.
Manage the hotel’s marketing assets, campaigns, and creative suppliers in line with Hyatt brand standards.
Track marketing performance and report results through regular Sales & Marketing reviews.
Manage marketing budgets, expenditures, and forecasting in support of annual planning.
Build relationships with media, influencers, destination partners, and the local community to strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel marketing communications, preferably within an opening hotel environment.
Strong understanding of integrated marketing, including PR, digital, social media, partnerships, and campaign activation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Creative mindset combined with analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Experience managing agencies, budgets, and marketing calendars.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Other
Candidates must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and be legally eligible to work in the Kingdom.
