Roles & Responsibilities

About The Role:

1- Business Context and Key Challenges:
Business partner to regional marketing, & sales leads.
The category in scope is Specialized Nutrition, which is defined as baby nutrition & medical nutrition.
Key Challenges
Complex categories that are interlinked together by different factors, and utilize a multi-layered marketing mix model to promote, which makes it challenging to measure.
Poor & unsustainable data quality, both primary and secondary, within all countries in scope requiring continuous diligence and checks.
Very focused & specialized categories which require customized tools and creative approaches for data gathering and analysing.
Limited resources compared to the organization data needs requiring clear data architecture maps, and optimized plans based on sharp business prioritise.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Insights Generation & Ad Hoc Research
Managing the design and the execution of primary research including writing research briefs, briefing agencies, developing questionnaires/discussion guides, & supervising fieldwork quality.
Help in shaping presentations and identifying business implications/opportunities.

2. Audits & Trackers Management
Responsible for retail audits, brand health trackers & healthcare professionals trackers in terms of planning, alignment, and effective reporting.
Managing the retail audit monthly analysis and reporting across the region.
Responsible for data quality by performing the necessary checks and maintenance required. Leading the evolution of the reporting tools.
Responsible for identifying opportunities and threats impactful to the SN organization.

3. Strategy Development
Support the Strategy & Insights Lead with advanced analytics required to build fact-based recommendations to support the business strategy development.
Proposing and executing research projects/customized analysis to validate business opportunities and risks.

4. Trends Spotting & Developing Consumer Centric Culture
Support the Strategy & Insights Lead in developing a consumer centric culture within the marketing team.
Capture local trends relevant to the specialized nutrition category on regular basis.

5. Budget Management & Documentation
Managing the financial process for the various S&I projects.
Tracking and reporting periodically of S&I budget spend.
Ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.

Key Performance Indicators:
Effective reporting of retail audit and trackers outcomes
Agile management of Ad Hoc Research leading to business insights
Active support in strategy development
Support the development of a consumer centric culture
Meticulous budget management

Desired Candidate Profile

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Education & professional experience:
Bachelor's degree Economics, mathematics, statistics, business, marketing.
Experience 4-5 years preferably, 7 years maximum in a similar role.

Location:
Cairo, Egypt

Languages required:
Fluent in English and Arabic, French is a must.
