Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose

Dove Green Private School (DGPS) is a British community school located in Dubai Investment

Park, offering a rigorous, values-led education based on the National Curriculum for England.

Now in its second decade, DGPS continues to grow through a culture of inclusion, care, and high

expectations, fostering academic excellence alongside creativity, wellbeing, and global

awareness.

As DGPS enters a new phase of expansion — including the completion of its purpose-built

secondary campus and launch of Sixth Form — the Marketing Officer will play a pivotal role in

leading key marketing initiatives, improving brand visibility, and creating engaging media

content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing and Communications

• Support the design, planning, and execution of the whole-school marketing

strategy under the direction of the Head of Admissions & Marketing.

• Create engaging digital content that highlights DGPS’s learning culture,

achievements, community events, and new developments.

• Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X,

YouTube) to maintain a consistent tone of voice and high-quality visuals.

• Design marketing and communication materials — newsletters, flyers, posters,

and campaigns — using Canva or Adobe Suite.

• Update and maintain the school website and parent communication channels to

ensure accurate and timely information.

• Support internal communications and events including Open Days, Parent

Connect sessions, and staff celebrations.

• Support links with external stakeholders such as companies, nurseries and

agents.

2. Branding and Visual Identity

• Maintain consistent application of the DGPS brand across all physical and digital

materials.

• Develop branded templates for newsletters, presentations, and social media to

ensure professionalism and alignment with the school identity.

• Coordinate photography and videography for school events, classroom activities,

and campaigns.

• Support the production of promotional videos and digital storytelling aligned

with school values and marketing priorities.

3. Data and Reporting

• Track social media engagement and marketing campaign performance, reporting

key metrics weekly.

• Contribute insights to inform marketing strategy and audience targeting.

• Ensure compliance with school and KHDA data protection requirements when

handling media or personal information.

4. Collaboration and Events

• Work closely with the Admissions, Operations, and Academic teams to ensure

marketing aligns with school priorities.

• Support the logistics and coverage of key events (graduations, productions,

sports days, assemblies, etc.).

• Build positive relationships with parents, students, and the community to

enhance brand advocacy and word-of-mouth reputation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media

— ideally within an educational or creative setting.

• Skilled in digital content creation, social media management, and copywriting.

• Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and social media

analytics tools.

• Strong visual eye, attention to detail, and excellent written English.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight

deadlines.

• Photography or videography experience is an advantage.
