Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing planning, coordination, and integration across departmental workstreams for tournaments
- Support timelines, dependencies, and deliverables oversight to ensure alignment across marketing teams and agencies
- Manage the Marketing & Events Department s program reporting
- Oversee event project and operational planning, supporting cross-functional coordination
- Support the organizational and operational delivery of on-ground marketing activities, including brand, fan, and community activations
Strategic Planning & Campaign Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall event objectives
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution across digital, social media, ATL, BTL, and experiential channels
- Coordinate seasonal and milestone-based campaigns (launch, ticket sales, match phases, finals, etc.)
Brand & Communications:
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all touchpoints
- Manage creative development including briefs, approvals, and asset production
- Oversee content calendars and storytelling strategies to maximize audience engagement
Digital & Performance Marketing:
- Plan and optimize paid media campaigns (social, search, programmatic)
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with digital teams on website, app, and CRM integration
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal teams (commercial, operations, PR, partnerships) to ensure alignment
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and media partners
- Support sponsor activation campaigns and ensure contractual marketing deliverables are met
Fan Engagement & Experience:
- Develop initiatives to enhance the fan journey from awareness to attendance
- Support on-ground activations, fan zones, and experiential marketing activities
- Utilize data insights to personalize fan engagement strategies
Market & Data Insights:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Track KPIs and prepare performance reports with actionable insights
- Use audience data to refine targeting and segmentation strategies
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably within sports, entertainment, or large-scale events
- Proven track record in delivering integrated marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and analytics tools
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams
Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working on international sporting events or tournaments
- Familiarity with multicultural markets and global audiences
- Knowledge of fan engagement platforms and ticketing ecosystems
