Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Marketing Supervisor will lead a team responsible for supporting all marketing operation teams throughout the entire Mailing lifecycle. The supervisor will coordinate and optimize marketing efforts by improving their efficiency, effectiveness and scalability.

Primary responsibilities

  • Monitor, motivate, coach and train Marketing operation teams to achieve and maintain KPI targets and behaviours through continuous monitoring, assessment and feedback
  • Supervise and coordinate activities with the Marketing team to ensure Mail Campaigns are processed in a timely manner while ensuring high levels of accuracy and quality are maintained.
  • Keep the Marketing Ops Manager informed and aware of any escalating problems regarding products, system obstacles, employee issues, departmental issues and any other matters involving or effecting the Department.
  • Supervise and manage the performance of each direct report within the Marketing team daily through our metrics and KPI s. This includes productivity, accuracy, Mail campaign quality and attendance.
  • Compile data and trends to aid in creating & maintaining complete documentation of performance improvement conversations and actions
  • Effectively create, issue and manage employee Performance Reviews and Performance Improvement Plans, where necessary, to ensure that individuals meet objectives
  • Setting/clarifying requirements and expectations for your team.
  • Communicating and maintaining Pens.com vision, direction and culture to the team.
  • Supporting and assisting with hiring, training and maximizing staff productivity and impact
  • Able to coordinate the work of small teams and maintain effective cooperation with other related departments.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or 2-year experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent process management and digital workflow skills.
  • Solid understanding of technology and how systems interact.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Accountable and able to manage projects individually and work will as part of a team.
  • Team player, comfortable building effective relationships with business partners.
  • Goal orientated; ability to stay focused on delivering results.
  • Self-starter with proven experience in delivering results to an organization.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and thrive in a stressful environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of promotional products marketing, data, etc.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and be organised to deal with multiple tasks & projects at the same time with the ability to demonstrate prioritisation skills.
  • Must have no PIP s, HR/Ops warnings on file
