Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Precisely cut and shape stones, marble, and tiles according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring minimal waste and optimal material utilization.

  • Expertly install stone, marble, and tile surfaces on floors, walls, and other structures, guaranteeing a flawless finish and adherence to industry standards.

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar, creating a solid foundation for lasting installations.

  • Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other binding agents with precision, achieving the correct consistency and ensuring proper adhesion and sealing.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on existing stone, marble, and tile installations, restoring their appearance and functionality.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, accurately translating designs into physical installations.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment and preventing accidents.

  • Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, including saws, grinders, and levels, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Holds a relevant vocational certificate or apprenticeship in masonry or a related field, showcasing formal training and expertise.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on stone, marble, and tile work.
