Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for masonry projects, ensuring all work aligns with project goals.
  • Skillfully mix and apply mortar and other materials in accordance with industry standards, guaranteeing the durability and aesthetic appeal of structures.
  • Construct, repair, and maintain walls, arches, and other structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks, showcasing precision and craftsmanship.
  • Implement effective safety practices on-site to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or construction preferred to enhance technical skills.
  • Proven work experience of at least 3-5 years in masonry or construction, demonstrating a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Certification in masonry or relevant trade certifications, such as OSHA safety training, to validate skills and commitment to safety.
  • Experience with bricklaying, stonework, and concrete finishing to ensure versatility in handling various masonry tasks.
