Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist

Role Summary

• Define and maintain enterprise master and reference data standards, models, and hierarchies
• Establish and implement data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, and approval workflows
• Manage golden record creation, matching logic, and survivorship rules
• Drive data quality initiatives including rule definition, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to align on data definitions, policies, and usage standards
• Guide data integration and synchronization strategies across multiple systems
• Ensure proper documentation of data models, metadata, and business glossary
• Act as the central authority for data standardization across multiple domains
• Support ongoing MDM project activities and ensure timely delivery within defined timelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 8 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Management
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise data standardization and domain data management
• Solid understanding of:
  • Master & Reference Data lifecycle
  • Data modeling concepts
  • Data quality frameworks
• Experience with MDM tools such as:
  • Informatica MDM
  • SAP MDG
  • IBM MDM or similar platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working on short-term or transformation-driven MDM projects
• Exposure to enterprise-level data governance frameworks
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
