Roles & Responsibilities

Tasks:

  • Command and navigate the vessel safely during offshore operations.
  • Oversee dynamic positioning and ensure precise station-keeping.
  • Lead and supervise crew performance and daily duties.
  • Conduct pre-departure checks, maintenance routines, and safety drills.
  • Coordinate with offshore clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage emergency procedures and onboard incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and internal protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Previous working experience on AHTS operation with Saudi Aramco and holds Aramco approval.
  • Proven experience as a Master on DP2/AHTS vessels, with a minimum of 2 years service.
  • Strong knowledge of dynamic positioning operations and maritime safety standards.
  • Ability to manage crew and coordinate onboard operations efficiently.
  • Excellent decision-making skills under high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in navigation systems, vessel maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communication skills for liaison with clients and offshore teams.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
