Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 30/60/90-day Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on DRP demand.
  • Balance forecasted demand with capacity, including labor, equipment, and material availability.
  • Document planning assumptions, capacity constraints, and loading logic.
  • Conduct scenario planning for workforce, shift optimization, equipment allocation, and supplier capability.
  • Collaborate with demand planners, material planners, and workshop managers for alignment.
  • Monitor fill rates, capacity utilization, and material readiness to ensure execution feasibility.
  • Provide schedule inputs into S&OP and DRP planning cycles.
  • Escalate risks and recommend resource reallocation where necessary (e.g., headcount, outsourcing).

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle preferred)

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production or service planning/scheduling
  • Experience in DRP and S&OP environments
  • APICS certification (CPIM or equivalent) preferred
  • Proven track record of managing mid-term scheduling in manufacturing or service operations
