Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Physically verify packed materials against the invoice and sales order before dispatch
  • Ensure correct product type, size, thread, seat, and quantity are matched accurately
  • Identify hydraulic hoses and fittings by visual inspection alone, without reference
  • Check hose types (R1, R2, R9, R12, R13, R15, thermoplastic, PTFE, etc.)
  • Identify and confirm fitting standards and threads (BSP, NPT, JIC, ORFS, Metric, SAE)
  • Validate correct pairing of hose, fitting, and ferrule where applicable
  • Prevent dispatch of wrong, mixed, damaged, or short-supplied material
  • Coordinate immediately with packing and warehouse teams to rectify errors
  • Sign off on dispatch approval after successful verification
  • Ensure packing quality, labeling, and safety standards are met
  • Report discrepancies, recurring errors, and improvement suggestions to management
  • Maintain discipline, accuracy, and zero-error mindset in dispatch operations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on experience in hydraulic hoses and fittings (mandatory)
  • Prior experience as a hydraulic crimper, assembler, or fittings manufacturing staff preferred
  • Ability to identify fittings and hoses instantly by sight
  • Strong understanding of threads, seats, pressure ratings, and standards
  • High attention to detail with strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines
  • Basic ERP or invoice reading knowledge is an advantage
  • Disciplined, process-driven, and quality-focused mindset
