Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications and BOQ to identify material requirements.
- Prepare and compile Material Technical Submittals for consultant/client approval.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to gather technical data sheets, certificates.
- Maintain and update the Material Submittal Log (MSL) and Material Tracker.
- Follow up on submitted materials and manage responses to consultant comments.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, including LEED and fire ratings.
- Support procurement by confirming approved materials.
- Collaborate with site and factory teams to ensure materials align with approvals.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or materials engineering preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in wood work and joinery projects and material management is mandatory.
