Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons to students in accordance with the school s curriculum and educational philosophy.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and address individual learning needs.
  • Participate in school events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance in line with school policies.
  • Promote a growth mindset and a love for mathematics among students.
  • Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the elementary or secondary level.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mathematics education.
  • Ability to work full-time, onsite, and as part of a unified team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate students.
