Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Math Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging mathematics instruction to students in accordance with curriculum standards. The role involves fostering a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and supporting each learner s mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong command of mathematical concepts, theories, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Effective classroom management and student engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools (e.g., graphing calculators, smartboards, online learning platforms).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in grading, assessment, and record-keeping.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles and student needs.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor s degree.

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching mathematics in middle & high school
