Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

“Native speaker” is defined as any person who has both resided continually from early childhood to adulthood in, and holds a passport from: the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.

English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers shall have at least a bachelor’s degree in English, applied linguistics, modern languages, or TESOL. A bachelor’s degree in any other field may be combined with a teaching certificate (CELTA) or diploma (DELTA) or MA-TESOL, plus substantial experience as an ESL teacher. All English teachers shall have at least 4 years of ESL teaching experience in an EFL setting. Non-native speakers shall have at least any of the following minimum scores:



i. Coordinators, 4 years
ii. Senior teachers, 8 years
iii. Principals, 10 years

Desired Candidate Profile

Mathematics teachers must have a bachelor s degree in Mathematics or a related field. (A master s degree is preferred). Non-native speakers should also have minimum English proficiency described in Section 4.b.
