Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess students' current mathematical proficiency levels through diagnostic testing and targeted questioning to pinpoint knowledge gaps.

  • Develop and deliver 1:1 private online sessions and customized lesson plans, incorporating diverse teaching methodologies to cater to individual student learning styles and paces.

  • Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, using relatable examples and real-world applications.

  • Provide constructive feedback on student assignments, offering detailed explanations and guidance for improvement, fostering a growth mindset.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in mathematical principles.

  • Holds a teaching certification or equivalent qualification, demonstrating the ability to effectively instruct and manage students.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven tutoring experience, showcasing a track record of successfully guiding students to achieve academic goals.

  • Demonstrates fluency in English, both written and spoken, ensuring clear and effective communication with students and parents.
