Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Category Management & Sourcing
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for multiple categories in Egypt & MEA.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with company standards.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to drive competitive advantage.
- Procurement Execution
- Manage end-to-end procurement process: supplier selection, RFQs, tenders, negotiations, contracting, and purchase orders.
- Lead negotiations to secure optimal terms on cost, quality, and service.
- Manage high-spend projects and ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for category-related procurement activities in Egypt & MEA.
- Supplier & Contract Management
- Ensure contracts are in place with clear terms, compliance, and risk management measures.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively.
- Compliance & Risk
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, contracts, and projects.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive cost optimization initiatives (Savings) and process improvements.
- Support digital procurement tools and analytics to improve efficiency.
Technical Skills
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in procurement systems (Oracle, SAP Ariba).
- Strong Analytical skills (TCO, cost modeling, spend analysis).
- Project management experience in leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives.br>

- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement ability across multiple functions.
- Problem-solving and decision-making mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
