Core Responsibilities

• Diagnostics: Identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic equipment and manual inspections.

• Maintenance: Perform routine services such as oil changes, fluid level checks, filter replacements, tire rotations, and engine tune-ups.

• Repairs: Fix or replace worn and defective parts, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering mechanisms, and suspensions.

• Testing: Conduct road tests and system inspections to verify that repairs have been successfully completed and the vehicle meets safety standards.

• Communication: Explain technical issues and repair options to customers or service advisors, and provide cost and time estimates for work.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; completion of a vocational program or an apprenticeship is highly preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, complex electrical systems, and modern automotive software.
