Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues in various ship systems, ensuring timely and accurate repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on vessels to uphold safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications and upgrades, enhancing ship capabilities.
- Utilize advanced tools and equipment to perform welding, machining, and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and environmental standards during all maintenance activities.
- Document repairs and maintenance work meticulously, providing clear records for future reference and inspections.
- Train and mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence within the team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must have 3-5 years working experience in shipyard as technician working on marine diesel engines and gearboxes
