Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall performance

of rig equipment, including drilling machinery, engines, generators, pumps, and

hydraulic systems.

• Maintenance and repair: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues,

diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs to

minimize downtime.

• Preventative maintenance: Develop, schedule, and administer preventative

maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

• Inventory management: Order and manage an adequate supply of parts and

materials. Liaise with store personnel to maintain parts inventory.

• Record keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities,

repairs, and service history, often using a computerized asset management system.

• Reporting and communication: Provide regular reports to management on the status

of equipment, machines condition, and maintenance activities.

• Safety and compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, internal

standards, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in leadership and team supervision.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Ability to analyze technical problems and work independently
