Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed mechanical BIM models in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Prepare, review, and update as-built mechanical drawings to accurately reflect on-site installations and modifications.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural, and MEP engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts within BIM models to optimize constructability and minimize rework.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure all mechanical drawings are compliant with project requirements and regulatory codes.

Collaborate with site engineers and construction teams to verify field conditions and incorporate redline markups into as-built documentation.

Support the preparation of shop drawings and fabrication details for mechanical systems.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on BIM-related issues and as-built documentation processes.

Assist in the implementation of BIM execution plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital workflows.

Ensure timely delivery of all BIM and as-built deliverables in alignment with project schedules and milestones.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

1-5 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling and as-built drawing preparation within the construction industry.

Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design and installation.

Experience in preparing and updating as-built documentation for large-scale projects.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering and BIM.

Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and field markups accurately.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.

Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
