Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings of mechanical components and systems using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts and sketches into precise and functional technical drawings, resolving any design discrepancies.
  • Perform calculations for dimensions, tolerances, and material properties, ensuring designs meet required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of existing drawings and models, identifying and implementing necessary revisions and updates to maintain accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Holds a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical CAD drafting, demonstrating practical application of skills and knowledge.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant CAD software, showcasing technical expertise in design and drafting.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), ensuring accurate and standardized drawings.
