Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the preservation activities, ensuring equipment integrity throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-commissioning to handover.
  • Lead and manage the mechanical commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and startup of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other related equipment.
  • Conduct detailed inspections, witness tests, and troubleshoot mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare and review commissioning reports, documentation, and as-built drawings, maintaining accurate records of all commissioning activities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preservation strategies and plans, including inspection and maintenance schedules tailored to specific equipment types and environmental conditions.
  • Oversee the execution of preservation activities, including the application of protective coatings, desiccant management, and equipment rotation, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the effectiveness of preservation measures and identify any deviations or deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to integrate preservation requirements into project execution plans and schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Possesses a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning mechanical systems, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
  • Exhibits strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
