Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and development of Distribution Transformers up to 5 MVA, 33 kV class
Preparation and verification of engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Preparation and review of technical submittals
Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchase, QA, Suppliers, and Customers
Ensure timely completion of drafting work as per production schedules and project timelines
Support manufacturing processes and fabrication activities
Implement new design techniques and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer mechanical design (manufacturing industry preferred)
Strong knowledge of distribution transformer design principles
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Pro-E / Inventor / FoxPro, and MS Windows
Good communication, coordination, and supervision skills
Awareness of:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- Industrial Safety Standards
Qualification:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in Gulf / international projects
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
