Mechanical Design Engineer Seero Engineering Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of complex mechanical systems and products. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mechanical design, strong analytical skills, hands-on CAD/FEA experience, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while collaborating across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end mechanical design activities from concept to production Develop innovative design solutions aligned with performance, cost, and manufacturability goals Create and review detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and GD&T Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design trade-off studies Conduct and review FEA (stress, thermal, vibration) to validate designs Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, ISO, ANSI, and industry standards Drive DFM/DFA practices and support manufacturing during prototyping and production Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and vendors Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and failure analysis Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO) and technical documentation Identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance improvement, and design optimization Contribute to new product development (NPD) and technology roadmap planning
