Mechanical Design Engineer

Al-Safwa Engineering Industry

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for metal storage solutions, including warehouse racking, mezzanines, lockers, and display stands.

• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate design integrity and performance.
• Review and interpret client specifications, translating requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, and refinement of new products.
• Support the continuous improvement of existing products by analyzing feedback and implementing design enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design projects, including bills of materials and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the production and assembly phases.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience in product and mechanical design.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks ( Autodesk , Inventor /2D/3D modeling, assemblies, drawings).
• Experience in sheet metal, welding structures, and metal components.
• Ability to create and review detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
