Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design automated systems, including conveyor and mechanical assemblies, based on sales and customer requirements.

Develop 3D models and detailed part and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.

Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), purchasing lists, and related project documentation.

Ensure designs follow lean manufacturing and design-for-manufacturing principles.

Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure machines are built according to specifications.

Manage design revisions and updates throughout the manufacturing process.

Source and coordinate procurement of machined and purchased components.

Create and update mechanical, pneumatic, and plumbing diagrams as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university, with a high GPA.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience using SolidWorks in an industrial or mechanical design environment.

Proficient in SolidWorks, with strong knowledge of sheet metal, weldments, machined parts, and assemblies.

Proven experience designing automated systems or industrial machinery.

Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).

Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with U.S.-based teams in a remote setting.
