Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Review and validate mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, gas, and utility systems.
- Lead a team of 4 6 engineers across design and procurement.
- Prepare and manage tender and procurement documents for subcontractors and long-lead items.
- Review and evaluate BOQs and subcontractor submissions.
- Oversee vendor coordination, delivery schedules, and material approvals.
- Liaise weekly with clients, consultants, and vendors to track progress.
- Supervise subcontractor deliverables drawings, models, materials, and as-builts.
- Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and civil teams to ensure design integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 9+ years experience in MEP design and coordination for infrastructure projects.
- Proven KSA experience with knowledge of local standards, authority procedures, and project execution practices.
- Strong grasp of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and gas systems.
- Familiar with SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, ASHRAE standards.
- Experience with procurement and subcontractor management.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Experience with ATP standards or sports/tennis facility design is a plus.
- Transferrable IQAMA or in region with KSA-based experience.
