Mechanical Draftsman for a Mfg. Co(Dubai)

• Responsible for developing designs (3D models & 2D drawings) based on design inputs like pre-inspection reports, customer requirements & fitment with mating parts.
• Liaise with salespersons to get drawing approvals from customers if required.
• Responsible for updating engineering drawings in-case of corrections or changes in design input.
• Ensure proper document revision controls for design output.

Accountability:

• Document all design inputs such as pre-inspection data, sample photographs, customer requirements etc
• Document all design outputs after final approval.
• Recommend technical design or process changes to improve cost, quality, or performance of the product.
• Evaluate plans or specifications to determine environmental implications along with statutory and legal requirements

Preferred Qualifications /Educational Background

Diploma / Degree or equivalent in technical mechanical field.

Certification course in an Autodesk CAD product.

Software skills required include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint.

Experience using Autodesk Inventor is mandate or Fusion 360 is preferred
