Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Produce standard, uncomplicated drawings from rough sketches, instructions, maps, charts, or diagrams from detailed sketches and in accordance with established practices and techniques
Prepare simple plans, and layouts for buildings, equipment, or locations from reference drawings or catalogues
Finalizing drawings from uncomplicated mechanical equipment diagrams
Maintaining a database of drawings and transmitted documents
This entry-level position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your mechanical drafting skills, while working in a multi-disciplined team environment with other designers and/or engineers in the preparation of design drawings based on design input
Creates detailed drawings for various product line equipment
Creates 3D models of components and assemblies
Create production quality drawings of parts
Checks dimensions of parts, material types, component fit-ups, and assembly completeness
Works with engineering team to determine the root cause and resolution for component/product issues
Qualifications:
English, Arabic, Hindi linguistic ability as asset
Associate’s Degree in CAD or related major
Experience in the construction industry is desirable
Knowledge of CAD software – AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, CADWorx or others
3-5 years of experience using Pro/Engineer Wildfire 4.0 and/or Solidworks
Must have at least 3-5 years of SolidWorks experience in the same field.
