Mechanical Draftsman (Design Engineer) Blue Stream FZCO

1. Product Design & Development

· Conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical products and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

· Prepare and review detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and engineering specifications.

· Design sheet metal components and assemblies, considering strength, manufacturability, and cost optimization.

· Ensure designs meet functional requirements, safety standards, and customer specifications.

2. Engineering Analysis & Validation

· Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, stress analysis, and design feasibility checks.

· Perform simulations and FEA to validate design performance.

· Collaborate with prototyping teams for testing and verification of designs.

3. Project Management & Documentation

· Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

· Prepare design documentation, assembly instructions, and technical manuals.

· Maintain proper revision control of design files and drawings.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product development and production.

· Support procurement in selecting materials, vendors, and fabrication processes.

· Assist in resolving technical issues during production and after-sales support.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

· Recommend improvements to existing products for enhanced efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

· Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

· Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
