Mechanical Engineer – Production & Assembly

  • Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Production & Assembly

1.     Job Overview

  • We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support production and assembly operations. The role focuses on supervising mechanical assembly processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, safety procedures, and production targets.

2.     Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise mechanical assembly of housings, fixtures, enclosures, and sub-assemblies.

  • Ensure correct use of fasteners, torque tools, and mechanical components.

  • Monitor adherence to assembly drawings and SOPs.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues such as misalignment, improper fitting, or structural defects.

  • Support rework, modifications, and process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with quality control checklists and inspection procedures.

  • Maintain production efficiency and meet defined targets.

  • Enforce workplace safety standards and 5S practices.

  • Coordinate with electrical teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical and electrical components.

  • Assist in optimizing production workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2–5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly environments.

4.     Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes.

  • Knowledge of fasteners, torque specifications, and mechanical fittings.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings.

  • Problem-solving skills in production environments.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
