Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Opportunity to join a very reputable leak sealing clamp manufacturing firm in UAE. Join our great team with great benefits.

  • Has proven experience as a mechanical design engineer specific to leak sealing and pipe repair clamps, minimum 5 years

  • Able to produce drawings to high standards and clarity

  • Able to specify sealant type for specific pipe medium, temperature and pressure ranges

  • Familiar with design of both injection type clamps and rubber seal type clamps (mechanical clamps)

  • Able to carry out designs in accordance with ASME B31.4, B31.8, ASME BPVC Sec XIII Div 1 AND Div 2, ASME PCC2

  • Able to carry out and present all calculations, design models and model outputs

  • Able to carry out FEM (finite element method) designs using ANSYS, CAESAR, STAAD ...etc to support Div.2 design verification

  • Able to communicate with clients and attend to technical queries

  • Able to relocate to UAE within 1 month

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor of engineering/engineering science

  • 5 years experience in design of leak sealing applications for pressurized pipelines including hydrocarbons

  • Essential to have thorough knowledge and experience in 3D modelling, drawing and 3D analysis (SolidWorks, ANSYS, Inventor, CAESAR ...etc)

  • Very good knowledge ASME standards BPVC Sec XIII Din 1 and 2 as well as ASME PCC2
