Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational supervision over all mechanical works within the university.

  • Oversee the execution and maintenance of MEP systems in accordance with approved specifications.
  • Review and approve execution drawings and technical plans.
  • Supervise contractors work to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions efficiently.
  • Prepare periodic technical reports and submit them to the relevant management.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure continuous operation without interruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of mechanical systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.

  • Excellent professional experience of at least 10 years in mechanical engineering.
  • Strong and proven experience in MEP systems (HVAC Fire Fighting Plumbing).
  • Experience in supervising the execution of mechanical works in projects.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Full knowledge of technical specifications and applicable engineering codes.
  • Ability to review and approve technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting and field supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and various departments.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical reports.
  • Commitment to Occupational Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, with ability to work under pressure.
