Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems for electrical industry projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical systems, including low-voltage panels, lighting columns, and smart infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, and project reports for mechanical assemblies and installations.
- Supervise on-site assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during project execution and after installation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source mechanical components and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Participate in the testing and validation of mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Support the maintenance team in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on installed mechanical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations throughout all project phases.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the electrical or manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering best practices.
- Experience with the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with integrating mechanical and electrical systems for industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
