Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Site Supervision & Management: Oversee mechanical installation works (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, ducting) for high-end residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all works comply with QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department), and NFPA standards.

  • Engineering Submittals: Prepare, review, and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and design calculations.

  • Coordination: Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines (civil, electrical) and manage site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

  • QA/QC & Safety: Implement quality control procedures and enforce safety regulations on MEP construction sites.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Licensing: Mandatory UPDA/MMUP Certification (Grade A).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 -15 years of experience in the construction sector, particularly in the contracting or site supervision.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and familiar with BMS (Building Management Systems).

  • Specific Expertise: Experience in HVAC, firefighting systems, chilled water systems, and piping.
