Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review shop drawings for HVAC duct systems in line with project specifications

  • Coordinate with production, site teams, and clients to ensure smooth execution

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards (e.g., DCD, civil defence requirements)

  • Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain quality and efficiency

  • Perform material take-offs and support estimation activities

  • Provide technical support during installation and inspections

  • Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure product compliance, especially for fire-rated ducts

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Strong knowledge of duct fabrication, installation practices, and HVAC systems

  • Familiarity with fire-rated duct systems and civil defence approvals is highly preferred

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software

  • Good understanding of SMACNA/ASHRAE standards

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
