Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment for food production lines.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and mechanical components.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all mechanical operations.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of mechanical parts, tools, and materials.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within the food production or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, automation, and production machinery.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
