Black & White Engineering is a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy, with over 1000 employees in teams based in our UK, European, Middle East and Asia Pacific offices. We have been providing a wide range of engineering consultancy services since 2007.

We are hiring a Saudi National, certified with the Saudi Council of Engineers. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, this role is part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for providing sound technical design support on mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines, to ensure project requirements and clients specifications are fully met.

Role Responsibilities

• Compile specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents as directed.
• Maintain the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
• Contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the company by identifying new opportunities and potential areas for growth and also maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
• Provide electrical or mechanical engineering services design for buildings and infrastructure.
• React to scope and schedule changes implemented in accordance with the Change Control Process.
• Other reasonable duties as appropriate.

education and training requirement (minimum)

• BSc/BEng or HND/HNC in appropriate engineering discipline
• Associate or student member of an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, IET.

experience requirements (minimum)

• Understanding of principles of MEP design for a range of building types
• Knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel etc
• Knowledge of relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, NES, Cymap)
• Understanding of existence of applicable legal/regulatory requirements, codes and standards and laws
