About the role:

We are seeking a talented SolidWorks Design Engineer, focusing on the design and development of specialized equipment used in pipeline coating and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have strong design capabilities, a creative approach to concept and machine design, and a passion for engineering innovation. Experience or familiarity with electrical wiring concepts and integration within mechanical systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create and develop new product designs and concept machines using SolidWorks, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
• 3D Modeling: Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness for manufacturing processes.
• Prototyping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and evaluate design feasibility, functionality, and performance.
• Design Validation: Conduct design reviews and simulations to verify that designs meet performance criteria and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for design optimization and innovation, contributing to product improvements and cost reductions.
